Lanetech 45N magnetic particle lifting force test block is used to verify the lifting force of portable magnetic Yoke flaw detector. The fundamental purpose of testing the lifting force is to examine the amount of effective magnetic flux introduced by the yoke into the workpiece, thereby assessing the performance of the yoke.
The lifting force refers to the attraction of a portable magnetic particle testing machine's yoke on ferromagnetic materials at the maximum pole spacing.
The magnitude of the magnetic yoke's lifting force depends on the cross-sectional area of the yoke's core, the magnetic properties of the core material, and the size of the excitation specifications. The lifting force of the yoke reflects the attraction force corresponding to when the peak magnetic induction intensity B of the yoke reaches a certain level.
When using the maximum yoke spacing, the alternating current magnetic yoke shall have at least 45N of lifting force; the direct current magnetic yoke shall have at least 177N of lifting force; and the cross yoke shall have at least 118N of lifting force (with a gap of 0.5mm between the magnetic pole and the work-piece surface).
